It is Rhode’s first highly-anticipated venture into color cosmetics outside of its Peptide Lip Tints, and most shades of the blush are already sold out. As a beauty enthusiast always on the hunt for the next big thing, I couldn’t resist trying it out. So I bought Hailey Bieber’s New Rhode Pocket Blush and here’s my honest review.
First Impressions of Hailey Bieber Rhode Pocket Blush
The Rhode Pocket Blush by Hailey Bieber comes in a sleek, compact design that’s perfect for on-the-go application. The packaging is minimalist yet elegant, reflecting Hailey’s personal style. it really is the perfect size to toss in your pocket or bag and have it on the go. The blush is available in six different shades, each designed to complement a wide range of skin tones: Piggy (a baby pink), Freckle (a neutral peach), Spicy Marg (a bright coral), Sleepy Girl (a soft mauve), Juice Box (a hot pink), and Toasted Teddy (a bronze terracotta).
I personally got myself the Spicy Marg blush as I usually like to go for a sunburned summery glow. Upon opening it, I noticed the pleasant, subtle fragrance and the smooth texture of the blush. The blush has a creamy texture which effortlessly melts on your skin under your fingertips.
Rhode Pocket Blush Application and Wear
Applying the Rhode Pocket Blush is a breeze. Its creamy texture allows for easy blending, whether you prefer using your fingers or a brush. One of the reasons I appreciate cream blushes is their ability to blend seamlessly, allowing for easy correction if applied too heavily. The Rhode Pocket Blush does just that, offering a smooth and blendable texture for a flawless and dewy skin-like finish. The formula is also hydrating; it doesn’t cling to dry patches or leave my skin looking cakey which is really important for my dry, sensitive skin. Still, it isn’t greasy either even if it feels a little oily and wet during the application.
The pigmentation is honestly impressive, offering buildable coverage that lets you go from a natural flush to a more vibrant pop of color. If you want to build up the color, just add another swipe on your cheeks. The ‘Spicy Marg’ shade which is a bright coral leaves this perfect sunkissed glow on your skin! I also like to apply a touch of blush on my nose to achieve a natural, ‘spent the day on the beach’ look. Hailey says that all her products aim to be versatile, which is why you can also add a dash product to your lips for a monochromatic look.
Performance
I wore the Rhode Pocket Blush on a particularly busy day to test its endurance. From morning meetings to an evening out, the blush stayed put with minimal touch-ups on my cheeks. Make up usually lasts all day on my skin though so I am not surprised the blush does too. It didn’t clog my pores or cause any irritation or breakouts, which is a big plus for those with sensitive skin like me. The lightweight formula felt comfortable, and the color stayed true to its initial application. I only had to do a touch-up after my work out session but the application was so easy thanks to the compact design of the blush. Before going out at night, I just applied a bit more of product on my lips and on the tip of my nose and the sun kissed glow was exactly what I was looking for. I believe this is going to be my go-to blush for summer!

Hailey Bieber’s new Rhode Pocket Blush is a standout product in the crowded beauty market. It also seems like a little goes a long way thanks to its lightweight formula so the blush should last a while. I highly recommend giving it a try as I already consider it a staple in my makeup routine, especially to anyone looking to achieve the Hailey Bieber makeup look.
